General description
Glucocorticoid-induced TNFR-related protein (hGITR) is also called Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 18 (TNFRSF18), Activation-inducible TNFR family receptor (AITR) and CD357. hGITR is a receptor for TNFSF18 and is activated by NF-kappa-B through the TRAF2/NIK pathway. hGITR is thought to be involved in activated T-lymphocyte and endothelial cell interactions, as well as regulation of T-cell receptor-mediated cell death. hGITR is expressed in lymph node, peripheral blood leukocytes and at low levels in the spleen.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human hGITR.
Other Notes
Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
Physical form
Protein A purified
Purified mouse monoclonal IgG1κ in buffer containing PBS with 0.05% sodium azide.
Format: Purified
Quality
Evaluated by Western Blotting in human spleen tissue lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: 1.0 µg/mL of this antibody detected hGITR in 10 µg of human spleen tissue lysate.
Storage and Stability
Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
Target description
~ 26 kDa observed. Multiple bands can be observed due to GITR being a monomer & homeodimer in some lysates. Uncharacterized band(s) may appear in some lysates.
